VACA!

It has been quite a week ... teaching the Summer Bridge program was very rewarding yet exhausting. I was extremely impressed with the conversations our students had about the texts/themes. They have very much matured and grown to respect one another and each other's opinions.

On Wednesday night Steve and I had a steak dinner with Dave and Giselle. The steak was out of this world and the potatoes were so great - I think I had about 4 whole red potatoes myself!!! I even had two glasses of RED wine - Dad, you would be so proud - I am not sure what kind it is, but it was delicious!! Dessert was chocolate fondue - one of my favs!!!

Steve and I are going on vacation tomorrow!!! We are driving to Bolton Valley, VT to stay in a bed and breakfast for two nights. We will stop in Hanover on the way. On Sunday we are traveling to Boston for the day and evening. On Monday we will head to CT to stay at Foxwoods for my birthday! Either on the way to Foxwoods or on our way home we will stop in RI to go to the tiny beach we visited last time - Watch Hill. I am very excited for our first vacation together!!! I will be sure to post pics and if I am able, I will update our blog - I doubt I will have any computer use while away.

Until then ... bon voyage!!!!
