Lazy Sunday

As promised, I am blogging each day.

Today is going to be a lazy Sunday. I woke up super early to shower and then we went off to finish up some shopping at 8:15 am. We hit up Home Depot, Wal Mart, Target, Home Goods, and Pier 1. We didn't get a whole lot of stuff. We are both very worn out from shopping and getting a little sick of it. I was able to exchange the elephants from Home Goods to get a new one that is not broke - Raja and Mufasa are now sitting pretty on our bookcase.

I have some reading to do today to prepare for the class I'm teaching at Lehman. Tomorrow is going to be a super busy day. I must take the Metro-North to Harlem at 6:30 am and then take a bus across Harlem to the 1 line. From there I will take the 1 to 231 Street and then the BX10 to BECA's old location to pick up the books. From there I will take another bus to Lehman College where I will sit for 4 hours and distribute the books. After than I will take the 1 to 125 Street and then the bus back over to the East Side so that I can head downtown to pick up a gift and a card. Then, I will finally make my way home, hopefully catching the last off-peak train to avoid an extra $2 fare.

We are going bowling tonight with Dave and Giselle (friends who live a few buildings over). I am very excited to show off my sub-par bowling skills while Dave and Steve bowl over 200 and Giselle who weighs a lot less than me can lift a ball 4 pounds heavier than mine. AWESOME! :) <3
