Steve's First Passover

NOTE: Per Steve's request, I will no longer be writing in 3rd person because it is obvious that I am writing this blog. ~Chelsea

On Thursday, Steve attended his first Passover Dinner and Sedar. He left work early at 3:30 p.m. to be sure to get to Aunt Gail's on time. There was a lot of traffic, so, he was later than expected which was fine because the other Trugmans were also in traffic. The chocolate mousse turned out great and I was able to transport it from Harlem to Long Island without any problems. The dinner began when everyone arrived - Aunt Gail, Uncle Jeff, Bryan, Ian, Hallie, me, Steve, Aunt Sue, Uncle Alan, Michael, Caroline, Mike H., and his son, Kevin. We all sat around the table and began reading. Everyone read, except for Kevin - he's only 10. Steve did an incredible job reading especially because his passages were full of names and places and hard Jew words. He even wore a yamaka!!! I am so disappointed that my camera was out of batteries because I wanted a picture of that so badly!!! Dinner was super delicious - turkey, brisket, potatoes, gravy, vegetables, kugel, etc. Steve even tried gafeltafish - SICK!!! The night was really fun with a lot of talking and jokes and just good times. The evening was over around 9:30. The other Trugmans stuck around til late and Costa came over and it was such a great time!

I stayed the night at Aunt Gails and she made matzo-bry in the morning and I had chocolate mousse too and she had the flourless chocolate cake.
