My Best Friend's Birthday

Last weekend, Steve and I went to St. Louis to help celebrate the wedding of Laura and Kevin. It was really nice to take off work and spend some time with my friends. Steve was so great in helping me with errands and picking out their gift and stuff. On Thursday was the rehearsal and dinner which was super amazing - Kev's family is super sweet and his dad gave a very touching speech at Brazies.

On Friday I met up with LB and her mom and another bridesmaid to get our nails done. It was a stressful day with everything we had to get done - but we did!!! LB and I had tons of laughs in the car and I really enjoyed that special 1 on 1 time!! Friday night Steve, Brendan and I went to Bar Louie for some drinks and Aly met us there - we had a great time!!! Check out the pic below of my brother and my boyfriend sharing a drink :)

On Saturday was the big day!!! All the girls got our hair done and make up done and then took a limo ride around Kirkwood before heading to the church. LB was the most beautiful bride and was so relaxed right before show-time. When she walked in with her dad I started to cry - it was just such a beautiful and special moment - I was so honored to be a part of it. After the ceremony we headed around STL in a party bus to take pictures - they were gorgeous pictures and can be seen at bobbibrinkman.com. LB and Kev make such a gorgeous couple!!! Steve took tons of pictures too for me and I think he had fun even though he spent four hours in a bus!!! The reception was spectacular - the dinner was great, the toasts were great, the music, the people, everything! I did a "dollar" dance with Kev and with LB and had a great time with Steve!!!

On Sunday morning everyone who stayed at the hotel had breakfast together which was really nice. Steve and I left and went to Starbucks were the rental car was backed into - that was a disaster. We went to the Cardinals game with my dad, mom and brother and had a great time! Even though the Cards lost it was still an exciting game! I have very fond memories going to the game with my dad!!! Steve and I went out to dinner on Sunday at Hacienda - a STL fav of ours - and I got to see my Kate!!! I haven't seen her in forever and I miss hanging out with that girl!!

We arrived home on Monday and got back to reality. There are only four weeks left of school - yay! - and then summer is here!!!

Enjoy some pictures below of the weekend ...
